Lot 349: An Assortment of Collectibles Including KLM Bols Blue Delft Houses and Decorative Figurines
An assortment of miscellaneous collectibles and decorative items. The lot includes two KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Blue Delft miniature houses by Bols, produced in blue and white glazed ceramic. One house is a multi-storey gabled structure featuring a distinctive white circular pouring spout on the top. The collection includes a black-faced sheep figurine with a textured fleece, wearing a pink and purple patterned hat and scarf and four floral-patterned boots. A small plush Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer toy is present, featuring a red plastic bead nose and a red and green scarf. Also contained within the lot is a large, dark brown dried gourd vessel with a wooden handle secured by metal pins. Additional items comprise a silver-toned metallic bowl, a white ceramic teardrop-shaped pendant on a brown cord with a purple inset cabochon, and a clear plastic bag containing unidentified small components marked with the label LDDX24.
Condition report:
Items are in varied used condition. The KLM Delft houses and the sheep figurine appear structurally sound with no visible chips or cracks. The plush reindeer shows light surface wear. The natural gourd vessel exhibits surface cracking and wear consistent with age and organic material. Metallic and ceramic items show minor surface marks and light signs of handling.
