Lot 422: A Collection of Contemporary Table Lamps and Decorative Accessories
An assortment of modern home decor items presented in a cardboard box. The lighting includes a table lamp featuring a grey-toned cylindrical body with a matte, textured surface and two raised horizontal bands. It is fitted with a black electrical cord and an inline manual switch. The base of this lamp bears several embossed or printed markings, including a recycling symbol, a CE mark, and various technical specifications and symbols which are not clearly legible as a specific brand name. Also included is a white geometric lamp base with a faceted surface, possibly ceramic or plaster, displaying a sharp, angular design. The lot further contains a stack of rectangular decorative panels with a gold-toned, glittered finish and textured surface. Accompanying these items is a quantity of artificial greenery, consisting of dark green waxy plastic leaves on flexible stems. A clear glass or acrylic object with vertical ribbing is partially visible beneath the greenery. The cardboard box features printed text on the side, including the word ‘Discreet’ and some handwritten notations in marker.
Condition report:
The items are stored together in a worn cardboard box and appear in used condition. The grey lamp shows some surface marking and light scuffing to the body (photo 1). The electrical components are untested for safety or functionality. The white faceted lamp base appears intact but may have minor surface dust. The gold-toned panels show minor wear to the glittered surface along the edges and corners (photo 1). The artificial plant appears slightly flattened from storage and shows a light accumulation of dust on the leaves. The outer cardboard box is heavily worn with torn edges and creases.
