Lot 379: An Electric Craft Tool with Heating Element, Soldering Components, and Associated JML Packaging
This lot comprises a mains-powered electric craft or industrial heating tool, featuring a green plastic handle and housing with a toggle switch. The tool is equipped with a metal arm extending to a polished metallic cup-like attachment, possibly for wax melting or specialist soldering applications. A white woven heat-resistant sleeve protects the internal wiring where it meets the heating element. The tool is accompanied by its original blue cardboard packaging which features printed text including Magnifying, With two LED Light, and a partial numerical string 4303490751. A second, smaller red and white box is present, bearing a printed blue oval logo for JML and the word VACUUM in vertical capital letters, alongside a Rechargeable icon. The tool includes an attached black electrical cord.
Condition report:
The tool shows evidence of significant use, with heavy heat-related discolouration and surface oxidation visible on the metal arm and the interior and exterior of the metallic cup (photo 1). The white heat-shielded cable exhibits surface fraying near the metal housing (photo 1). Both original cardboard boxes are in poor condition, showing significant structural wear, creases, tears, and residue from adhesive tape (photo 1). The electrical components have not been tested for safety or functionality.
