Lot 251: A Collection of Ladies Fashion Boots and Footwear
An assortment of ladies footwear and boots presented in a blue plastic crate. The collection includes a pair of tall, dark brown boots constructed with a combination of smooth leather and suede panels, featuring a full-length side zip closure and heavy black rubber lugged soles with a block heel. Also included is a pair of tan suede ankle boots in a moccasin style, featuring contrast stitching, a lace-up front, and a cream faux-shearling or wool lining. A further pair of black leather ankle boots is partially visible at the base of the lot, showing decorative buckle and lace detailing. The footwear is primarily made from leather and suede with synthetic linings and durable rubber outsoles. A white adhesive label is affixed to the interior rim of the blue plastic crate reading 13 13 and an orange adhesive label reading 152 is also present. Condition report:
The footwear is in pre-owned condition and shows signs of wear throughout. The dark brown tall boots show light surface scuffing to the suede panels and dust accumulation, while the rubber soles exhibit moderate wear to the tread (photo 1). The tan moccasin boots show general wear to the suede uppers with some flattening of the nap and darkening to the light-coloured lining consistent with use (photo 1). The black leather boots show creasing to the uppers where visible. The items are stored loose in a crate, which may result in further minor surface impressions or scuffing between the pairs.
