An assortment of vintage decorative glassware featuring a variety of manufacturing techniques and styles. The collection includes a large clear pressed glass pedestal bowl with a scalloped and serrated rim, decorated with hobstars and diamond quilting. A pair of tulip-shaped vases are present in a pale yellow-amber glass, featuring a raised lattice pattern and crown-style rims. The art glass components include a tall, translucent olive-green vase with a fluted, twisting body and an opaque pink cased glass vase with a heavily crimped rim and clear glass applied foot. The cranberry and pink glass items consist of a small deep pink bowl with optical ribbing and a pair of small circular pink tea light holders or salt cellars with diamond quilting, housed in a red-and-white grid-patterned box. Cut glass items include a biscuit barrel with a metal-bound rim, a blue-and-yellow wrapped handle, and a matching lid, all featuring deep-cut geometric and star motifs. The group also contains a clear glass decanter with a ringed neck and etched bands, and a small clear footed dish with a diamond pattern. An orange wax egg is also included within the lot.
Condition report:
The glassware appears generally intact with no visible chips or cracks to the glass bodies (photo 1). Surface dust and grime are present throughout, consistent with storage (photo 1). The metal rim of the biscuit barrel shows minor oxidation and surface dulling (photo 2). The cardboard box for the small pink holders shows significant structural wear, tearing at the corners, and age-related toning (photo 2).
