A solid yellow gold wedding band featuring a classic D-shaped profile with a rounded exterior and a flat interior. The interior of the band is struck with several hallmarks in rectangular and shield-shaped punches. One impressed mark is clearly readable as the numeral 22, denoting a gold purity of 22 carats. Adjacent marks, including what appears to be a crown and an assay office mark, are present but are too worn or obscured by tarnish to be definitively transcribed. The metal exhibits the deep yellow hue characteristic of high-purity gold alloys.

The ring is in good overall condition with signs of moderate wear consistent with regular use. There are fine surface scratches and small scuffs across the exterior and interior of the band (photo 1 and 2). The hallmark impressions contain some darkened residue or tarnish (photo 2).
