A British 22 carat yellow gold wedding band featuring a classic D-shaped profile with a polished exterior and interior surface. The interior of the band bears a series of struck hallmarks. The first mark consists of the uppercase characters KBS in a rectangular cartouche. A second grouping of four marks follows: the numeral 22 in a square, an anchor, a lion passant, and the lowercase letter n within a shield. The anchor is the town mark for the Birmingham Assay Office, the lion passant signifies the British standard for gold fineness, and the letter n corresponds to the year 1962.

The ring is in good vintage condition with signs of light wear throughout. The exterior and interior of the band show fine surface scratches and minor scuffs consistent with age and use (photo 1). The internal hallmarks are clear, well-defined, and fully legible (photo 1).
