Lot 511: A Collection of Mottled Green Hardstone Beads and Teardrop Cabochons
An assortment of loose stones and bead strands fashioned from a mottled pale sage green hardstone, which appears to be aventurine quartz or a similar variety of jadeite. The collection includes several strands of tumble-polished organic oval beads and multiple loose pear-shaped cabochons. The stones exhibit a characteristic waxy lustre with natural internal clouding, white inclusions, and darker green speckling throughout. The items are contained within several clear plastic grip-seal bags. A white adhesive label on one bag is printed with JM / LOPO32 Made In / South China. A second bag bears an identical white adhesive label printed with JM / XGPO54 Made In / South China. A third bag features a similar white adhesive label that has been left blank. The bead strands are strung on a coordinating green cord.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good polished condition across all visible pieces (photo 1). The stones display natural surface-reaching inclusions and internal fractures typical of these mineral varieties, which are not considered damage. There are no significant chips, cracks, or scratches visible through the packaging. The grip-seal bags and adhesive labels are intact and legible.
