Lot 467: Contemporary Upholstered Motion Armchair with Triple Cushion Back and Wooden Accents
A contemporary motion armchair upholstered in a beige fabric featuring a tonal floral scroll pattern. The chair is designed for comfort with a triple-cushion waterfall-style backrest and heavily padded, rolled armrests. Decorative dark-stained wooden panels with rounded contours are applied to the front faces of the arms and as plinth blocks at the base. The construction includes a heavy-duty base indicative of a reclining or motion mechanism. The fabric covers the entirety of the seat and back, while the wooden elements provide a contrasting mahogany-style finish. No manufacturer labels, brand names, or country-of-origin marks are visible on the exterior surfaces of the piece. A small orange rectangular adhesive sticker is present on the upper surface of the right-hand wooden arm accent (photo 1).
Condition report:
The chair is in used condition. There is visible darkening and localized staining on the seat cushion and the tops of both armrests (photo 1). The lower section of the triple-cushion backrest appears slightly compressed from use (photo 1). Minor surface scuffs are visible on the dark-stained wooden arm accents (photo 1). The reclining mechanism has not been tested for full range of motion.
