Lot 364: Boy Bears For the Collector Fully Jointed Mohair Plush Teddy Bear
A five-way jointed collectible teddy bear constructed from light brown shaggy mohair plush. The bear features dark glass-style eyes and a hand-stitched nose and mouth in brown yarn. The head, arms, and legs are movable via internal joints. The paw pads and soles are finished in a tan-coloured woven fabric. A black fabric label is sewn onto the sole of the right foot featuring gold-tone cursive embroidery that reads Boy Bears For the Collector.
Condition report:
The bear is in good condition with no visible balding or significant plush loss. The hand-stitched details of the nose and mouth remain intact (photo 1). There is minor flattening of the pile consistent with handling, and the joints are functional. A small orange adhesive inventory tag is present on the right foot pad (photo 2).
