Lot 310: A Collection of Hardcover and Softcover Books Featuring Sports Autobiographies and Hobby Guides

The group includes a large format softcover edition of Woodcarving for Beginners: Projects, Techniques, Tools, featuring content from Woodcarving magazine. Notable hardcover titles with dust jackets include Totally Frank: My Autobiography by Frank Lampard, Leap of Faith by Frankie Dettori, David Jason: My Life, and Still Me by Christopher Reeve. A green-bordered hardcover volume titled All You’ll Ever Need or Want to Know features a full-colour illustration of garden gnomes on the front cover. Condition report:
The collection exhibits general signs of shelf wear and handling consistent with use. Woodcarving for Beginners shows visible creasing to the upper right corner and edge wear to the softcover wrap (photo 1). The hardcover dust jackets, particularly on Leap of Faith and Totally Frank, show light scuffing and minor bumping to the spine ends (photo 1). The gnome-themed book displays surface scratching and light reflection on its glossy finish (photo 1). Cardboard storage boxes show typical wear from handling and storage.
