Lot 180: Two Miniature Bottles Comprising The Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky and Morrisons The Best Soave Classic 2023
A duo of miniature alcohol bottles featuring one spirit and one white wine. The first bottle is a miniature of The Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky. The bottle is capped with a black screw-top lid featuring a gold-tone signature reading Matthew Gloag. The main paper label features an illustration of a red grouse and reads THE FAMOUS GROUSE above FINEST SCOTCH WHISKY and PRODUCT OF SCOTLAND. The second bottle is a single-serve miniature of Soave Classic white wine from the Morrisons The Best range. The white paper label features a circular black and silver-tone emblem reading the Best followed by WINE OF ITALY 2023 and SOAVE CLASSIC DENOMINAZIONE DI ORIGINE CONTROLLATA. The neck of this bottle is sealed with a black foil capsule bearing the text Morrisons Since 1899 and the Best. Both bottles retain orange price stickers reading 180 and small white adhesive labels reading 13. A blue and white Italian government seal (DOC/DOCG strip) is visible on the neck of the Soave bottle.
Condition report:
Both bottles are unopened with original seals intact. The fill level for The Famous Grouse is at the base of the neck/top shoulder (photo 1). The fill level for the Soave Classic is at the mid-neck (photo 1). The labels are in generally good condition; however, both bottles exhibit adhesive residue and minor surface scuffing from the application of price and inventory stickers (photo 1). The Soave liquid appears clear and free of sediment; the whisky liquid shows no clouding.
