A set of large-scale wind chimes comprising six hollow metal tubes suspended from a circular wooden platform. The tubes are constructed from metal with a smooth, bronze-toned anodised finish. Each tube is suspended by yellow synthetic cords that pass through drilled holes near the top rim of the cylinders. The suspension platform and the central circular striker are crafted from turned wood with a polished brown finish. A central cord supports the striker and extends downwards to a wind sail (partially visible). There is an orange adhesive price or inventory label attached to the lower portion of one of the longest metal tubes, but it does not contain maker information. No maker’s marks, signatures, or branding are visible on the wooden or metal components.
Condition report:
The wind chime is in good functional condition. The metal tubes exhibit minor surface scuffing and light scratches consistent with outdoor exposure and contact (photo 1). The wooden platform and striker show a well-preserved polished finish with no visible cracking or significant weathering. The yellow suspension cords appear intact and secure, though there is minor fraying visible at the points where the cords enter the metal tubes (photo 1).
