Lot 98: A collection of four pieces of vintage pressed glass
An assortment of four pieces of vintage pressed glass in various colours and patterns. The lot includes a large clear glass bowl featuring linear ribs radiating from a central starburst motif on the base. A medium clear glass bowl is present with a matching starburst and ribbed design. The collection also includes an amber-toned glass bowl with a marigold finish and a diamond-point or quilted texture to the exterior wall. The final piece is a small peach-coloured hexagonal glass object, possibly a salt cellar, featuring a central geometric star motif. A small orange rectangular adhesive label is attached to the exterior of the large bowl, reading 8.6. No other manufacturer marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the pieces.
Condition report:
A small chip is visible on the outer edge of the rim of the large clear bowl (photo 1). Both clear bowls exhibit light surface scratching to the interiors and bases from use. The amber-toned bowl and the peach-coloured piece are in good vintage condition with only minor shelf wear to the bases (photo 1).
