Lot 579: A mahogany veneer twin-door glass-fronted side cabinet
A two-door side cabinet finished in mahogany veneers. The rectangular top with a moulded edge sits above a pair of doors, each set with a shaped glass panel and accented by carved scroll motifs to the corners. The doors are fitted with brass-tone drop-pull handles on decorative backplates and open to reveal a single wooden shelf. The cabinet is raised on a shaped plinth base with integral bracket feet. A small yellow rectangular adhesive lot label is attached to the front right edge of the top, and no other marks, stamps, or maker labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The top surface exhibits several visible scratches, scuffs, and patches of significant finish wear (photo 1). There are minor scuffs and small chips to the mahogany finish along the bottom edge and feet (photo 1). The glass panels remain intact. The interior shows an accumulation of dust.
