A contemporary group of two household utility items comprising a pedestal mirror and a white desk lamp. The round pedestal mirror features a double-sided glass plate mounted on a swivel mechanism for adjustable viewing. The frame and circular weighted base are constructed from chrome-plated metal. An orange adhesive tag with the handwritten number 348 is affixed to the glass, and a small white circular sticker with the handwritten number 7 is attached to the base. The white utility desk lamp consists of a bell-shaped metal shade, a flexible gooseneck stem, and a circular base. It is equipped with a white electrical cord, an inline rocker switch, and a standard UK 3-pin plug. An orange adhesive tag with the handwritten number 348 is located on the exterior of the shade, and a white sticker with the number 7 is on the base. A safety label inside the shade reads Max 40w with R50, standard reflector lamp, minimum distance from lighted objects 0.5m, and includes a CE mark and the symbol for Class II double insulation.
Condition report:
The mirror glass shows visible surface smudges and dust (photo 1). The chrome-plated finish displays light surface scratches and minor pitting consistent with domestic use. The white lamp finish has scattered small scratches and minor paint losses, particularly around the rim of the shade and on the base (photo 1). The electrical cord and plug appear intact; however, the lamp must be PAT tested by a qualified professional for modern safety compliance before use.
