Lot 574: A Mahogany-Effect Glazed Single Door Display Cabinet
A narrow, one-piece display cabinet featuring a mahogany-toned wood-effect laminate finish over wood composite. The cabinet is fitted with a single full-length glazed door, which is decorated with an applied geometric leaded-effect pattern of interlocking rectangles and diamonds. The interior contains two shelves, creating three compartments for display. The door is fitted with a centrally located antiqued-style metal pull handle. A small orange adhesive sticker is located on the lower-left side edge; however, the text on this label is not legible. No other maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible.
Condition report:
The cabinet shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. Small scuffs and surface scratches are visible along the edges of the mahogany-effect finish, particularly on the outer corners (photo 1). The glass remains intact without visible chips or cracks but exhibits surface dust and minor smudges. The metal hardware is present and appears functional.
