Lot 559: A contemporary upholstered slipper chair with floral damask pattern
A contemporary slipper chair featuring a low-profile seat and a slightly reclined backrest with a rolled top edge. The chair is fully upholstered in a cream-toned fabric decorated with a raised, white damask-style floral scroll pattern, finished with matching piping along the seams. It is raised on four short, square-section legs in a dark-stained wood finish. An orange adhesive label is present on the upper backrest with the handwritten characters 5 5 9. No other maker’s marks, labels, or tags are visible.
Condition report:
The chair appears to be in good overall condition. The upholstery is clean with no visible staining or significant wear (photo 1). The wooden legs show minor superficial scuffs consistent with light use (photo 1).
