A full-length cheval mirror featuring a mahogany frame. The rectangular mirror plate is set within a moulded frame, which is swivel-mounted between two upright supports terminating in turned finials. The structure is joined by two horizontal cross-stretchers and stands on four out-swept legs. A small orange rectangular adhesive label with black characters is affixed to the left edge of the mirror glass, but the text is not legible. A white rectangular adhesive label is visible on the rear of the frame through the reflection; the characters on this label are also not legible.
Condition report:
The mirror plate shows minor surface dust and smudging (photo 1). The mahogany-toned frame shows light surface abrasions and small scuffs, particularly around the base and legs, consistent with domestic use (photo 1). The swivel mechanism is functional.
