Lot 533: A circular metal and textured glass outdoor bistro table
A contemporary circular bistro table designed for patio or garden use. The table features a round top with a hammered-effect textured glass insert held within a black-painted metal frame. The structure is supported by a tripod base consisting of three tubular metal legs that curve outwards at the feet, reinforced by a central circular metal brace. A small orange rectangular adhesive label is present on the glass surface, printed with the characters 5 3 5. A small white rectangular adhesive label is adhered to the black metal rim, printed with the characters 1 7 followed by 1 1. No legible maker names, brand marks, or stamps are visible on the frame or glass.
Condition report:
The table shows evidence of significant weathering and wear consistent with outdoor use. The black finish on the metal rim is heavily chipped and abraded throughout (photo 1). Oxidation and surface rust are present on the tubular metal legs and the central support ring (photo 1). The textured glass top is intact with no visible cracks or chips, but it exhibits surface soiling and adhesive residue from labels (photo 1).
