Lot 505: A contemporary black nickel plated metal bed frame with faceted spherical finials
A contemporary metal bed frame finished in black nickel plating. The design comprises a headboard and footboard, both featuring vertical support bars and arched scrollwork decoration. The corner posts are surmounted by large, clear, faceted spherical finials. The bed is equipped with a sprung slatted base, consisting of light-coloured wooden slats held in place by black plastic end caps. An orange rectangular adhesive sticker is attached to the upper rail of the headboard; the text on this sticker is not legible. No other manufacturer marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the frame.
Condition report:
The bed frame is in good used condition. The black nickel plating maintains a bright, reflective surface across the visible parts of the headboard and footboard as seen in the photograph. All clear finials appear to be present and without visible cracks or chips. The wooden slats and their plastic retaining caps appear to be intact and complete. A small orange adhesive sticker is present on the headboard rail and will require removal.
