Lot 489: Large Contemporary Rectangular Wall Mirror with Bevelled Glass Frame
A large contemporary rectangular wall mirror featuring a multi-faceted frame design. The frame is constructed from numerous segments of bevelled glass, including angled corner pieces and a recessed inner border that creates a three-dimensional, tiered effect. The central mirror plate is clear, and the entire assembly is representative of modern Art Deco-influenced styling from the late 20th or early 21st century. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the object.
Condition report:
The mirror and its decorative frame appear to be in good overall condition. There are no chips, cracks, or significant scratches visible to any of the glass panels (photo 1). The silvering on the central plate and frame sections is clear, with no evidence of foxing, clouding, or silvering loss. The structure appears stable.
