Lot 441: Sony Micro Hi-Fi Component System with CD Player and Cassette Deck
A Sony micro hi-fi component system comprising a silver-finish central unit and two wood-effect bookshelf speakers with grey fabric grilles. The central unit features a top-loading CD player with a transparent lid and a vertically-oriented cassette deck. A white printed SONY logo and text reading AUTOMATIC TAPE SELECTOR and AUTO REVERSE are visible on the transparent CD lid. A black printed SONY logo appears at the base of each speaker grille. Control buttons for CD SYNC, TAPE, and EJECT are located on the left side of the main unit. Smaller text labels below the buttons and on the digital display panel are not clearly legible. A white circular adhesive label with a black handwritten 7 is attached to the upper left corner of the left-hand speaker cabinet. The system is shown positioned beneath a green plastic shelf which has an orange adhesive label reading H 44. Black power and speaker cables are partially visible at the rear of the unit.
Condition report:
The system is presented in used condition with a layer of surface dust visible across the top of the main unit and speakers (photo 1). The CD player lid and cassette compartment door are currently in the open position. A small white circular sticker is adhered to the front of the left speaker cabinet (photo 1). The electronic functionality of the system has not been tested.
