Two heavy-duty manual steel tools comprising a manual post rammer and a hexagonal section wrecking bar. The post driver is of tubular steel construction with a black painted finish and features a weighted cylindrical body with two side handles for two-handed operation. A manufacturer’s safety label is applied to the shaft featuring several pictograms including eye and ear protection requirements, though the text is partially illegible. The body also bears a small orange square sticker and a white adhesive label reading ‘7 7’. The second tool is a prying bar forged from hexagonal section steel featuring a curved claw at one end for levering and nail pulling. A small white adhesive label reading ‘7 7’ is applied to the centre of the shaft.
Condition report:
Both items are in a used, functional condition with expected cosmetic wear. The post rammer shows scuffs and scratches to the black painted finish throughout the length of the cylinder (photo 1). The wrecking bar displays surface oxidation and rust across its entire length, particularly prominent at the prying end (photo 1). The structural integrity of both items remains sound.
