Lot 368: A contemporary white-painted metal freestanding coat rack
A contemporary floor-standing coat rack constructed from white-painted metal. The piece features a central tubular shaft supporting three tiers of curved metal hooks, providing twelve hanging points in total. Each hook terminates in a white plastic protective cap. The structure is assembled with visible steel bolts and screws. A small rectangular orange adhesive label is affixed to the central shaft; the text on this label is not legible. No other maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are present.
Condition report:
The rack shows signs of previous use throughout. There is visible surface scuffing and minor paint loss to the white finish, particularly around the hanging hooks and central joints (photo 1). One white plastic protective cap is missing from a hook in the middle tier (photo 1).
