Lot 356: An Assortment of Lace-Trimmed Hessian Fabric a Drawstring Pouch and Craft Literature
This lot consists of a collection of textiles and craft-related materials. Included are two rolls of coarse-woven natural hessian fabric, each featuring a broad band of white floral lace trim applied along the centre. Also present is a single drawstring pouch constructed from the same natural hessian material. The collection includes a rectangular boxed set with a lid displaying twelve folk-art style quilt block patterns, including floral, geometric, and eagle motifs. The spine of this box is printed with the text SERIES 1 – 12 QUILT PATTERNS and SUBJECTS. A selection of softcover hobbyist books is included, with two visible titles from the Cross-Stitch Collection. A small orange rectangular adhesive label is attached to the side of the green cardboard container. No other labels or maker’s marks are visible.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition. The hessian and lace textiles appear clean and unused with no visible staining or fraying (photo 1). The boxed set of quilt patterns shows minor shelf wear and light scuffing to the edges and corners. The softcover books remain intact with typical light creasing to the spines and edges consistent with handling.
