Lot 349: A Brass Toned Floor Lamp with a Cream Pleated Fabric Shade
A traditional-style floor lamp featuring a circular, tiered base and a slender cylindrical stem in a brass-toned metal finish. The lamp is fitted with a cream-coloured pleated fabric shade of tapered cylindrical form. It is wired with a gold-coloured electrical flex terminating in a white UK three-pin plug. An orange adhesive label is present on the side of the shade bearing the handwritten digits 3, 4, 9. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory labels are visible on the exterior of the item.
Condition report:
The metal base and stem show surface oxidation and light tarnishing consistent with age and use (photo 1). The fabric shade exhibits minor surface marks and light discoloration (photo 1). The electrical wiring appears intact, but the lamp is sold as untested and should be inspected by a qualified electrician prior to use.
