A Spanish hand-made glazed porcelain table lamp featuring a figurine of a seated woman playing a mandolin. The figure is depicted leaning against a stylized tree trunk which houses the vertical metal support for the lamp fitting. The porcelain is decorated in a characteristically soft palette of greys, blues, and browns with a high-gloss glaze finish. A blue printed mark on the underside of the base shows a bell-flower symbol above the name LLADRO, with HAND MADE IN SPAIN printed below. Several incised marks are present on the base, including the letter E within a hexagon, the characters J-28 My, and the numbers 6 and 9. An orange adhesive label with the number 34 is attached to the figure, and a small white adhesive label marked 7 is affixed to the head. The lamp is complete with a pleated cream fabric lampshade and is fitted with a white electrical cord featuring an inline rocker switch and a standard UK three-pin plug.
Condition report:
The porcelain figurine and base show no visible chips, cracks, or repairs (photos 1 and 2). The pleated fabric shade exhibits light surface dust but remains structurally sound (photo 1). The electrical components appear intact but have not been tested for safety and are sold as decorative items only.
