Condition report:
The collection shows varying degrees of wear. The 1887 green cloth volume has significant condition issues, including the complete loss of the spine covering which leaves the internal binding and stitching exposed (photo 1). The boards of this volume exhibit fraying and wear at the corners and edges. The yellow softcover volume Tales of Old DALTON shows visible creasing to the front cover near the spine and light wear to the corners (photo 1). The blue hardcover volume A History of Dalton-in-Furness appears in generally good condition with minor shelf wear to the edges and corners (photo 1). The maroon softcover volume Dalton-in-Furness past and present shows light edge wear and minor creasing to the covers (photo 1).
