Lot 250: Keith Melling, Buttermere from Dalegarth, signed landscape print
A colour reproduction print after an original landscape painting by Keith Melling, depicting Buttermere from Dalegarth in the Lake District, UK. The composition features a wooden rowing boat resting on a shingle shoreline in the foreground, with the calm waters of Buttermere lake reflecting the surrounding fells under a pale sky. The view is framed by overhanging tree branches in light spring foliage. The print and frame are in excellent condition. No visible signs of foxing, toning, or fading are present (photo 1). The mount is clean and the glass is intact. The frame shows no visible scuffs or structural damage.
