The lot includes OO gauge model railway equipment featuring a maroon diesel locomotive and a Hornby Railways rolling stock wagon. The wagon is contained within a red cardboard box marked OO GAUGE SCALE MODELS and HORNBY RAILWAYS, featuring a yellow and blue window displaying a wagon with Weetabix branding. Electrical control is provided by a Hammant and Morgan Ltd Multipack D.C. Control Unit housed in a blue and white striped cardboard box marked H AND M EQUIPMENT. The control unit panel is printed with MULTIPACK D.C. Control Unit, Made in England, and the manufacturer name HAMMANT & MORGAN Ltd. with an address at Handem Works, Agam Estate, St. Albans Road, Watford, England. Condition report:
The collection is in play-worn vintage condition. The Hornby Weetabix wagon box shows shelf wear, creasing, and surface losses (photo 1, 3). The Hammant and Morgan control unit box exhibits significant wear, including tearing, creasing, and yellowed adhesive tape residue (photo 1, 3). Plastic model railway buildings are loose with visible dust accumulation and signs of age (photo 2). Track sections show surface dirt and some potential oxidation (photo 1, 4). The plastic figures are loose and unsorted within a cardboard box (photo 2). The Toyway plastic bag is creased and shows surface dust (photo 1, 4). All electrical items, including the locomotive and the control unit, are sold as untested for working order.
