This lot comprises two rifles consisting of a Winchester Model 69A bolt action rimfire rifle and a Ruger Air Hawk break barrel air rifle. The Winchester is chambered for .22 calibre Short, Long, or Long Rifle cartridges and features a blued metal finish on the barrel and receiver paired with a plain wooden stock. The bolt assembly is notably missing from the action, rendering the firearm incomplete. The Ruger Air Hawk is a .177 calibre pellet rifle utilising a spring piston break barrel mechanism, fitted with a wooden stock that includes a contoured grip and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. This air rifle is equipped with a Tasco telescopic sight mounted to the receiver rails. Visible markings include the Tasco brand name on the optic, whilst the rifles bear handwritten orange stickers marked 175 and a white sticker on the Winchester buttstock marked 77. The furniture shows various handling marks and the Winchester displays surface oxidation along its metal components.
Condition report:
The Winchester rifle exhibits significant surface oxidation and light rust along the barrel and receiver, with the wooden stock displaying various handling marks and dings consistent with age; the bolt assembly is missing. The Ruger air rifle remains in fair condition with minor surface wear to the blued finish and light scratches on the wooden furniture. The break barrel action appears to function correctly, though the seals and spring tension have not been tested. The Tasco scope optics appear clear, and the rubber recoil pad is intact and supple. The bores have not been inspected.
