Lot 157: Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 1 Litre 40% ABV
A sealed 1-litre bottle of Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced in Kentucky, USA. The clear glass bottle features a square body with a rounded shoulder embossed with the characters ESTD 1795. The primary white paper label is printed with JIM BEAM in large black lettering, above the phrases THE WORLD’S NO. 1 BOURBON WHISKEY and KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY. The label includes a red circular seal graphic containing a white letter B and the text THE STANDARD SINCE 1795, alongside a facsimile signature reading James B. Beam. The bottom of the label indicates the volume and strength as 1L alc. 40% vol. Attached to the bottle shoulder are two adhesive labels: a small white rectangular sticker printed with 1 1 and an orange rectangular price sticker with the handwritten number 157 in black ink. The bottle is closed with a white metal screw cap printed with JIM BEAM and ESTD 1795 in black and red.
Condition report:
The bottle is unopened with the original manufacturer seal intact on the white screw cap (photo 1). The fill level is at the high shoulder. The main paper label is in good condition, showing only minor shelf wear and very light scuffing to the edges (photo 1). There is some adhesive residue visible on the glass shoulder near the applied stickers (photo 1). The glass remains clear and free of chips or significant scratches.
