Lot 58: A Victorian-style cream-glazed earthenware bathroom vanity stand
A free-standing cream-glazed earthenware vanity stand, featuring a weighted rectangular base with two circular recessed dishes. A central turned pedestal column supports a horizontal cross-member with two circular hoops designed for tumblers, terminating in a spherical ball finial. The item is finished in a neutral cream glaze. Two orange adhesive labels are present on the central column and base, one marked 58. The spool of twine visible in the images is not included with the lot.
Dimensions: Approximately 30-40 cm in height.
Condition report:
A significant hairline crack is visible on the upper surface of the base, extending from the edge of the right-hand circular recess. There are scattered minor surface abrasions, scuffs, and some light ingrained dirt consistent with age and use.
