Lot 539: A Collection of Women's Shoes Including Jacques Michel and Other Styles
A collection of multiple pairs of women’s footwear in various styles including loafers, Mary Janes, court shoes, and flats. The assortment features a neutral colour palette of chocolate brown, tan, black, burgundy, and light grey. Construction materials primarily consist of synthetic leather-effect uppers, with some examples displaying textured reptile-pattern finishes and suede-effect textiles.
A pair of brown loafers is marked to the insole with the J M logo and Jacques Michel, further inscribed Extra Materials, Synt. Upper, Synt. Lining/Sock, Synt. Outsole, Made in U.K., and sized 4 1/2. A black flat shoe bears a similar Jacques Michel mark, sized 6, and is also marked Made in U.K. with synthetic material designations.
Other items in the lot include a pair of tan Mary Jane shoes with wide velcro straps, a pair of burgundy Mary Janes with slender straps, a pair of grey court shoes with decorative chain-link detailing to the toe, and various textured brown loafers. The shoes feature varying heel heights from flat to low block heels.
Condition report:
The collection is in used, second-hand condition. Visible signs of wear include creasing to the uppers and toe boxes, minor scuffing, and surface marks to the exterior materials. There is evident use to the outsoles and heel tips across the lot. Items show general dust and debris consistent with bulk storage. No original boxes or dust bags are present.
