Lot 474: An Assortment of Classical and Easy Listening Music Media Including CD Box Sets and Cassette Tapes
An assortment of approximately 40 to 60 recorded music items comprising compact disc box sets, individual CDs in jewel cases, and various cassette tapes. Notable contents include a 20-CD box set titled The Complete Classical Collection Vol. 2 and a 4-CD box set of Jean Sibelius: The Complete Symphonies performed by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra under Paavo Berglund. The collection further includes a Famous Operetta Overtures CD by the Bratislava Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Martin Sieghart on the Lyman label. Cassette tapes include Sonny Plays Your Piano Favourites Volume Five, an Andrew Lloyd Webber compilation, and a Maxell UR 90 blank tape with a handwritten tracklist including titles such as Bright Eyes, Lead Me On, and Thank You For The Music. The items are in used, second-hand condition. Plastic jewel cases and card box sets exhibit visible surface scuffing, shelf wear, and some minor cracking. Adhesive price stickers and residue are present on several cases. The media, including discs and magnetic tapes, has not been individually inspected for scratches or tested for playback quality. One cassette inlay features handwritten notations in pen.
