A set of white porcelain demitasse cups and saucers produced by RGK in Czechoslovakia for Zimco. Each piece is decorated with a dense gilded chintz pattern consisting of scroll and filigree motifs, accented by a transfer-printed spray of a single pink rose with green leaves. The footed cups feature ornate, fully gilded scrolled handles and gilded foot rims. The saucers are decorated with a matching gold border and central floral motif. The underside of the pieces bears a green underglaze stamp with a crown symbol above RGK and CZECHOSLOVAKIA, accompanied by a diamond-shaped mark containing the name ZIMCO and a hand-stamped number 21. The set is accompanied by a gold-toned wire display stand featuring a lower basket for the saucers and four hooked arms for hanging the cups.
Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition. There is visible surface dust consistent with display. Minor rubbing and wear are present on the gilding, most notably on the handles and rims of the cups. No chips, cracks, or evidence of restoration were observed.
