Lot 745: A Collection of Silver and Silver-Tone Bullion and Jewellery including Scottsdale Silver Bars
A collection comprising two Scottsdale Silver one troy ounce bullion bars, each stamped with a crowned lion logo and the inscriptions Scottsdale Silver, 999 Fine Silver, One Troy Ounce, and In God We Trust. One bar is contained within a protective plastic capsule. The assortment also includes several silver-tone items including three large medallions featuring British heraldic motifs of a lion and a unicorn. The jewellery items consist of a curb-link identity bracelet, a thin bangle, three hoop earrings including one set with small colourless round stones, a teapot-shaped charm, and a decorative knot charm. Additionally, there are two circular engraved metal covers from a pocket watch case. The bullion bars are marked as fine silver; the remaining items are unmarked and appear to be silver or silver-tone metal. Professional testing is recommended to confirm the silver purity of the unmarked pieces.
Condition report:
The bullion bars are in good condition with minor surface handling marks; one remains protected in a capsule. The jewellery and medallions show various degrees of surface oxidation and wear. The pocket watch case covers exhibit heavy tarnish and significant surface wear consistent with age.
