An assortment of United Kingdom bronze and copper coinage contained within a clear plastic zip-lock bag. The collection comprises various denominations including decimal one penny and two pence coins, alongside larger pre-decimal pennies. Identifiable reverse designs include the crowned portcullis, the Prince of Wales feathers, and the seated figure of Britannia. Several coins bear the NEW PENNY inscription from the early decimalisation period. Obverses feature the right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The coins exhibit natural dark brown and reddish-brown toning. An orange adhesive label with handwritten number 727 is attached to the bag.
Condition report:
The coins are in circulated condition with varying degrees of wear to the high points of the designs. Surface marks, scratches, and varied oxidation and toning are present throughout the group.
