Lot 725: An Assortment of Vintage and Contemporary Beaded Costume Jewellery Necklaces
A collection of costume jewellery necklaces featuring a wide variety of bead styles and materials. The lot includes Venetian-style millefiori glass beads with multicoloured floral patterns and lampworked beads with internal swirls. Other glass components consist of faceted beads in shades of red, green, and amber, as well as smooth moulded glass beads in various colours. The collection also contains large, oval marbled plastic beads in tones of yellow and green, consistent with mid-century Lucite designs. Additional materials observed include faux pearls and base metal chain links. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the pieces. A white paper tag with the handwritten number 2 is present at one end of the container.
Condition report:
The jewellery is presented as a bulk lot and is currently tangled. Individual pieces show varying degrees of surface wear and minor scratches consistent with age and previous use. Some components may require cleaning or minor repairs to clasps and stringing. The decorative cardboard box shows minor signs of shelf wear.
