Lot 717: An Assortment of Vintage Costume Jewellery and Quartz Wristwatches including Seiko
An assortment of vintage costume jewellery and quartz wristwatches presented in two boxes. The jewellery collection includes various brooches, notably a large floral spray with layered red plastic petals, a silver-tone bird set with clear rhinestones, a pink enamel rose, and several gold-tone leaf and floral designs. The lot also contains a pair of domed clip-on earrings featuring green and white bead-like cabochons, gold-tone bangles, a medallion pendant, and miscellaneous pins. The watch collection features a silver-tone Seiko quartz wristwatch with a white dial and Roman numeral hour markers. Other timepieces include a rectangular gold-tone quartz wristwatch on a black leather strap and several quartz wristwatches with metal link or textured bracelets. A silver-tone cuff bracelet set with a polished turquoise-coloured cabochon is also included. Materials consist of gold and silver-tone base metals, enamel, plastic, glass rhinestones, faux pearls, stainless steel, and leather.
Condition report:
Items are in used, vintage condition and are sold as-found. Metal finishes show typical signs of age including surface scratches and tarnishing. Minor enamel wear is present, and some items are tangled. There is potential for small missing stones in the stone-set pieces. All watches are untested and sold for parts or repair. Surface scratching is visible on watch crystals and cases. The black leather strap shows significant wear and creasing. The storage boxes show light wear and bear lot stickers.
