The group includes coins featuring the third obverse portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf (dated 1997) and the fourth obverse portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley (dated 2004). Reverse designs include the seated figure of Britannia by Christopher Ironside and the Royal Shield of Arms by Matthew Dent. All coins bear the abbreviated Latin legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D and the denomination FIFTY PENCE.

Circulated condition. The coins exhibit typical signs of commercial use including surface scratches, scuffs, and contact marks. Minor edge nicks and light surface toning are visible across the group.
