Lot 677: A Modern Country Knotty Pine Combination Wardrobe
A contemporary knotty pine combination wardrobe, also referred to as a combi-robe, of one-piece construction. The piece features a pair of doors to the left-hand side and a vertical stack of two drawers to the right. The door fronts and drawer faces are detailed with routed tongue-and-groove effect vertical panelling, typical of the late 20th-century rustic style. The wardrobe is fitted with turned wooden bun-style pull knobs throughout. A single non-original metal cup hook has been added to the top left-hand cornice. The unit sits on a solid plinth base. While the interior is not visible, this model typically contains a single hanging rail behind the double doors. No manufacturer marks or labels are present; small adhesive lot tags are visible to the top left edge.
Condition report:
The wardrobe is in good used condition with signs of domestic wear consistent with age. Visible defects include minor surface scratches, light scuffs, and small indentations to the soft pine wood, particularly around the edges and plinth base. There is some minor gapping and misalignment between the two cupboard doors. A non-original metal hook is screwed into the cornice.
