Lot 617: An Assortment of Vintage Collectibles including KLM Bols Miniature Houses and Advertising Stoneware
An assortment of vintage decorative objects and advertising collectibles presented in a compartmentalised wooden display box. The group includes two miniature Delftware-style ceramic canal houses produced for KLM by Bols; one is marked with the number 44 and the brand names BOLS and KLM, while the other bears a label numbered 11. Also present is a black-lacquered wooden Russian nesting doll featuring a painted face on the lower portion and an attached handwritten tag. The lot includes a jointed wooden Pinocchio doll dressed in a red hat, red tunic, and green trousers. A brown glazed ceramic lidded jar is embossed with the text LYONS COFFEE. Additional components comprise a small brass-toned metal bell part and several rectangular dark wooden blocks. The wooden case features a red fabric lining and multiple compartments.
Condition report:
The items show signs of age and light surface dust. The wooden display box exhibits surface wear and includes adhesive price stickers. Minor fraying is visible on the fabric elements of the Pinocchio doll. The ceramic and wooden pieces generally appear structurally sound with light surface marks consistent with age and handling.
