Lot 611: Ethan Allen Old Tavern Pine Hanging Pipe Rack
An Ethan Allen Old Tavern collection hanging pipe rack, constructed from solid pine with a dark antiqued stain. The piece features two horizontal rails, the upper of which contains six U-shaped cutouts for smoking pipes. The design includes two rows of six turned spindles set between decorative scalloped side supports, terminating in shaped bracket feet. The item is of mid-20th-century manufacture with solid wood construction and dowelled joinery.
Condition report:
The rack exhibits signs of storage including accumulated dust and surface cobwebs. There is minor wear to the dark finish along the edges and rails, consistent with age. The structural integrity is sound and all spindles are present.
