Lot 584: Large Mahogany Finish Open Record Storage Unit
A wide mahogany-finished hardwood open storage unit, specifically designed with seven fixed vertical dividers creating eight equal compartments suitable for vinyl record storage. The unit features a traditional design with a stepped, moulded cornice at the top and a matching moulded plinth at the base. The back is fully enclosed with a matching wood-effect panel. The unit is of substantial size and solid construction, intended to be used as a floor-standing piece. There are no visible maker’s marks or stamps; however, two small adhesive labels are present on the front edge of one of the central dividers.
Width: Approximately 1.5 – 2 metres.
Condition report:
The unit is in generally good condition with minor surface scuffs and signs of wear consistent with age and use. It has been stored in an industrial environment and would benefit from a light cleaning. No major chips, cracks, or structural issues are visible.
