Lot 529: A Collection of Vintage Fishing Equipment including an ABU Cardinal 70 Reel and Westline Telescopic Landing Net Rod
A collection of vintage angling equipment. The set features a brown plastic tackle box housing various fishing accessories. Principal components include a fixed-spool reel clearly marked ABU Cardinal 70 and an additional spare spool marked Cardinal. The tackle box also contains a spool of yellow monofilament fishing line, assorted lead weights, and small red-and-white floats. Accompanying the tackle box is a black Westline 3m telescopic landing net rod, which is still contained within its original clear plastic sleeve and bears a blue label printed with westline 3m TELESCOPIC LANDING NET.
Condition report:
The tackle box and its internal components show signs of previous use, with visible dust and surface dirt throughout. The ABU Cardinal 70 reel shows surface wear consistent with age and use. The Westline landing net rod appears to be in unused condition, remaining in its original protective sleeve.
