Lot 510: TWO COMPLETE SETS OF POOL BALLS
Two full sets of pool balls, comprising one United Kingdom standard red and yellow set and one American-style numbered set. The UK set consists of seven solid red balls, seven solid yellow balls, one black 8-ball, and one white cue ball, presented in a blue cardboard box with a black moulded plastic interior tray. The American-style set consists of seven solid balls numbered 1 to 7, one black 8-ball, seven striped balls numbered 9 to 15, and one white cue ball, housed in a black patterned cardboard box. A white adhesive label for Ulverston Auction Mart is attached to the side of the blue box.
Condition report:
Both sets show signs of heavy regular use, including surface scratches, minor pitting, and ingrained chalk marks. The white cue balls in both sets show significant surface marking and discolouration. The boxes are in worn condition, with scuffed corners, frayed edges, and split corners noted.
