Lot 482: A Collection of BBC Radio Dramatisation and Literary Spoken Word Audio Cassettes
A collection of audio cassettes primarily featuring literary dramatisations and poetry readings, including several BBC Radio Collection releases. Notable titles include W.B. Yeats Poets for Pleasure read by T.P. McKenna, Henry Fieldings Tom Jones (A Radio 4 Classic Serial), and Charles Dickenss Our Mutual Friend (A BBC Radio 4 Full-Cast Dramatisation). The spine of another case identifies The Riddle of the Sands by Erskine Childers. The lot also contains a TDK AD90 Type I Normal Position blank cassette tape bearing a Boots retailer logo on the shell. The cassettes are contained within standard plastic library cases of single and double thickness, most with their original printed card inserts.

Media: The magnetic tapes appear to be in good visual condition with no apparent signs of mould or physical damage. Sleeves and Cases: The plastic library cases show typical signs of shelf wear, including surface scratching and scuffing. Card inserts show light age-related wear but remain intact and legible.
