This group consists of several decorative and functional objects. The collection includes a two-part covered dish or baker in the form of a hen on a nest, made from unglazed terracotta with detailed moulded feathering and a woven-pattern base. Also present is a glazed earthenware figural cookie jar in the shape of a gingerbread man, featuring a textured orange-brown glaze with painted white icing details, blue eyes, and orange buttons. The lot includes a relief-moulded ceramic beer stein with a scene depicting traditional figures in a village setting, finished in earth-tone glazes and fitted with a hinged domed metal lid. A pewter tankard of simple cylindrical form with a C-shaped handle is also included. Several items bear white adhesive labels marked L 7, and the beer stein has an orange label marked 472. Inside the tankard is a blue paper strip containing the characters E O 1 9 9 1 3. No manufacturer marks are visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good condition. The terracotta hen dish shows minor surface scuffing and light wear to the base rim. The earthenware gingerbread man and ceramic stein appear free from significant damage, though the stein\'s metal lid shows some oxidation and surface wear. The pewter tankard exhibits a dull grey patina with surface scratches and small indentations consistent with use.
